HHA FUNDRAISERS

HHA has multiple fundraisers throughout the year which help to keep our dues low and our rinks maintained. You can find many of them below. Our Golf Outing and Sportsman's Raffle are two of our biggest events during the year, and you can find more details on each of those by clicking on the appropriate links below or by navigating to their page under the events tab on the website.

HHA Branded Apparel & Gear

Starting in the 2023/2024 season, HHA took a new approach to fundraising by managing apparel sales directly. In previous years, partnering with outside vendors meant HHA only received around 10% of total sales, typically amounting to about $2,000 per season. Additionally, HHA did not receive any proceeds from items sold elsewhere.

By moving apparel sales exclusively in-house this past season, Hudson Hockey Association raised over $10,000—more than five times previous earnings! This significant increase directly benefits our rink and strengthens our program.

Raise Right Gift Card Fundraiser

This is an online program that allows families to purchase eGift cards, physical cards for shipping to home, and electronic reloads from over 700 vendors like Target, Home Depot, Sephora etc.

Families can earn money 24/7 for HHA while shopping online or at retail stores.

Gertens Flower Fundraiser

Twice a year, HHA partners with Gertens for a flower fundraiser that helps bring color to your yard and support to our association! Many families purchase flowers in the spring and seasonal arrangements for the winter holidays, so why not make your purchase through our personalized link?

Each spring and fall, your participation in the Gertens fundraiser directly contributes to HHA's success. It's a simple way to beautify your home while helping us grow!

Spare Change Fundraiser

HHA is excited to launch a new, easy way for our community to support our athletes: Spare Change Giving! By linking a debit or credit card, you can round up your everyday purchases to the nearest dollar, and the spare change will be donated directly to Hudson Hockey. It’s a simple, automated way to make a difference without changing your routine!

Every little bit adds up, helping us improve facilities, fund programs, and create opportunities for our players. Join us in making a big impact through small change!

2024 Raffle Calendars

Hudson Hockey is selling 2024 raffle calendars to help raise money for our association! 5,000 calendars are available for sale at $40 each. Multiple calendars may be purchased by any single person but purchasers and all prize winners drawn MUST be 18 years of age.

Each calendar sold will have a unique serial number on the back. The buyer must keep the calendar to reference this serial number for drawings. Drawings will begin on Monday, January 1, 2024, and run through Monday, December 30, 2024. Drawings will be done using a random number generator to pick one winning number per drawing. Drawings will take place each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday live on the Hudson Hockey Association Facebook page at approximately 4:00 PM.

The first 156 drawings will be awarded a prize of $400. A Grand Finale prize will be drawn on Monday, December 30, 2024, and the prize amount for that drawing will be $1,200.

Raffle Calendar Rules

1) 5,000 calendars will be available for sale at $40 per calendar.

2) Multiple calendars may be purchased by any single person.

3) Purchasers and all prize winners drawn must be 18 years of age.

4) Each calendar sold will have a unique serial number from 0001 - 5000 on the back. Buyer must keep the calendar to reference this number for drawings.

5) Drawings will begin on Monday, January 1, 2024, and run through Monday, December 30, 2024.

6) Drawing will be done using a random number generator to pick one winning number per date that corresponds with a calendar that has been created for this raffle, sold or unsold.

7) Drawings will take place each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday live on the Hudson Hockey Association Facebook page at approximately 4:00 PM.

8) The first 156 drawings will be awarded a prize of $400.

9) Drawing amounts will be listed on the drawing dates on the calendar.

10) A Grand Finale prize will be drawn on Monday, December 30, 2024, the prize amount for that drawing is $1,200 and is listed on that date on the calendar as well.

11) For any drawing, if a winning number drawn matches a calendar that has not been sold, the prize money is not awarded and will be kept by the Hudson Hockey Association as the owner of that calendar at the time of the drawing.

12) Hudson Hockey Association will make every effort to contact the winner immediately after each drawing via the phone number provided.

13) Prize money will be paid via a check payable to the name liste don the calendar tab collected at purchase and mailed to the address listed on the tab.

14) Hudson Hockey will mail out winner's checks on a two week schedule throughout the year. A list of winning names and numbers drawn will be posted at www.hudsonhockey.com/page/show/5955489-fundraisers in as timely a manner as possible.

15) All calendar purchases are final; no refunds will be given for any reason.
